Perkins V & CTE:

• What It Means for Montana Students •

Career and Technical Education (CTE) students have higher academic proficiency scores and graduate at a higher rate than their peers because CTE allows them to:

  • engage in hands on learning in the classroom,
  • experience work based learning,
  • and earn early college credit through dual enrollment options.

Perkins V supports the partnerships and funding to make sure that schools are coordinated and working with industry. It provides a strong school-career pathway to ensure students can meet Montana's labor market needs.
