Chief Financial Officer
Work-Related Duties:
- Fiscal and operational support of the School Finance, ESSER, Human Resources, and Centralized Services teams.
- Represents the agency during Legislative session, interim committees, and various Boards meetings
- Implement sound management practices and monitor outcomes to ensure agency objectives are met.
Ms. Grady joined OPI in May 2024 and has been with the State of Montana since 2001. The majority of that time was spent in various financial roles at the Montana Department of Corrections and most recently as the CFO at the Montana Department of Administration SITSD. April has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from MSU-Billings. She is looking forward to improving the flow of communication among OPI teams to ensure financial data collection is accurate and schedules are met. April has two daughters, one at MSU and one graduating from high school in 2024. She enjoys reading, running, backpacking, and travelling.
