This is a musical production, adapted for the stage and based on the popular book, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl. It will have slight adjustments to the production, designed specifically for families dealing with sensory integration and spectrum disorders. Our goal is to make theatre accessible to those community members who may find it extremely difficult—if not impossible—to attend any live performance.

The performance will be modified by lowering the light and sound levels. In addition, the theatre's lobby will have designated quiet areas, staffed with autism experts and trained volunteers, for those who may need to leave their seat during the performance. Inside the theatre, volunteers will hold up glow sticks to alert parents and caretakers about upcoming loud noises or applause, allowing them to prepare individuals who might find this disruptive.

MCT is very excited to be working with VSA Montana to provide a safe environment for families to enjoy this scrumdidilyumptious fantasy ride into the land of pure imagination!
