Labor Day Weekend in Browning - Aug, 31 - Sept. 2, 2012


An American Indian Sign language Conference is being held in Browning, Montana. All interested people are invited to participate in the discussions and dinner.  The conference will include a commemoration of the 1930 Plains Indian Sign Language conference, which was also held in Browning.

The University of Tennessee and the Friends of the Museum of the Plains Indian (FMPI) are co-hosting the conference with Blackfeet Community College and the Museum of the Plains Indian.

The conference will begin at Blackfeet Community College at 5:00 pm Friday evening.
