Today, teachers are expected to employ modern technologies to help students learn, often calling for a complete rethinking of traditional practices. Apple supports the needs of teachers through Apple Learning Professional Development (ALPD) courses, as well as online courses, which help teachers get the most power from new technologies.

The Adobe® Open Options Contractual License Program (CLP) simplifies software administration through a single licensing agreement. You get the benefit of a large-purchase discount, but you have the option to spread your license fees over the duration of the agreement. The program allows you to mix and match products to reach the 1,000 point (state-wide) minimum.

A two-year agreement that saves you even more
The Adobe Open Options CLP covers most Adobe products (see the product list to the right), and allows Montana public education institutions to acquire software licenses on an ongoing basis over a set period of time. To qualify for the low CLP Education prices, the Montana Office of Public Instruction completed a two-year projection of its software needs, and determined that state-wide purchases over that time will exceed 1,000 points. (If not, Montana can still participate in volume licensing through Adobe Open Options TLP.)

The benefits of Adobe Open Options CLP:

  • Save even more through a two-year volume discount agreement
  • Mix and match Adobe products in your orders
  • Receive discounted pricing on all orders – even for quantities as few as one license
  • Spread your license fees over the duration of your agreement
For additional information about the CLP, please download this PDF file:
External LinkInformation on CLPContractual License Program (CLP)
(clp_education.pdf; 48K)

Maintenance Options to keep your software current
The Maintenance program, an option for CLP customers, keeps your software investment current by providing upgrades under the same license for a set period of time. Be sure to ask your Education Reseller about Maintenance options.

Eligible Products

Most Adobe products are eligible for volume discounts (under TLP and CLP), including the following:

How it works

Schools log on to the e-academy web site and register the school using a qualified Montana K12 e-mail domain (Visit the instructions link below, for more detailed information).

Once a school is registered, that account will automatically have the ability to generate individual registration codes for students and faculty.

Schools then distribute individual registration sheets to parents and students. Each registration sheet includes a unique code. Do not print the same set of registration sheets more than once as this may result in the same registration code being passed out to more than one person. Only the first person that registers a particular code will be successful.

Parents and staff use the sheet containing the Web address and individual registration code to purchase products with their own credit card.

Detailed instructions on how to create an account and generate individual registration letters for your students and faculty can be found at:
