Penn State Professor John Sanchez (Yaqui/Apache) will present “American Indians: How the News Media Shapes American Indian Identity and Policy in the United States.” The free, public talk will focus on public perceptions of American Indian identity in the 21st century as framed by and dictated by news media and popular films.
