Indian Education for All Best Practices Conference
Feb. 7 - 8, 2011
Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel - 835 Great Northern Blvd, Helena, Montana
Please join us as Montana educators share the knowledge, skills, and materials needed to fulfill the instructional obligation of our state's constitutionally mandated Indian Education for All act. This year at Best Practices, we will highlight ways teachers can work toward a more permanent and sustainable practice of integrating quality Indian Education for All resources with rigorous, standards-based instruction in all curriculum areas.
There will be a registration fee of $50, payable to the Office of Public Instruction. Once you have registered online, you will receive an initial e-mail confirmation stating you are preliminarily registered along with information on how to submit payment. Once OPI receives the fee, you will receive a second e-mail confirming your final registration with a receipt for the payment.
Conference activities begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 7 and end at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8. Continental breakfast and full luncheon are offered both days. Up to 14 OPI renewal units will be available. Look for the full agenda posted here as it becomes available.
