Friday, November 29, 2013, 9:25 am

The Office of Public Instruction has sent its recommendations for appointments to the K12 Data Task Force to the legislators serving on the task force. By law, the legislators who serve on the task force make the appointments to the task force. At the end of November, OPI sent letters to the individuals who applied to serve on the task force informing them of OPI’s recommendations. OPI plans to convene the 28-member task force for a full-day meeting on January 15, 2014 in conjunction with the OPI Assessment and Data Conference, which will be held at the Red Lion Colonial Inn in Helena. The task force agenda will include presentations from vendors of software products that provide real-time data to teachers and administrators to improve classroom instruction. The agenda will also include discussion groups and feedback sessions.
