Funding provided for Montana Digital Academy operations for FY 2013Monday, April 1, 2013, 2:09 pm
House Bill 210, an act appropriating money for the Montana Digital Academy, has been approved by the Montana Legislature and now awaits the governor’s signature. Appropriating $300,000 from the general fund to the Office of Public Instruction, the bill’s passage was a collaborative effort. The Office of Public of Instruction extends its gratitude to the many K-12 education organizations and individual proponents that came together to ensure this bill’s success. The funding, which is appropriated for the fiscal year ending June, 30 2013, is crucial to the ongoing success of the Montana Digital Academy and preserves access to high-quality online courses for thousands of students in Montana.
