Imagine Tomorrow - competition for High School students

Tuesday, January 31, 2012, 1:22 pm
Imagine Tomorrow hopes that you and your students will participate in a problem solving competition for 9-12 graders hosted at Washington State University in Pullman. Now in it's fifth year, Imagine Tomorrow is inviting students from Oregon, Idaho and Montana to join Washington state students in developing creative, carefully researched solutions to society's grand challenges. Unlike any other school competition, Imagine Tomorrow breaks down barriers to personal advancement, fosters inclusion and collaboration, and strengthens our students, schools, industries, and communities.

2012 Topic: Ideas fuel the future.
As the world transitions to alternate energy sources, people have to make fundamental changes in the way they operate. In this high school problem-solving competition, the students' task is to explore ways to enable some aspect of this transition. What types of behavior changes will be necessary, and how do we bring those about?
