AIM Program Participation Collection Ends March 25, 2011Tuesday, March 1, 2011, 8:57 am
The AIM Program Participation Collection begins March 1. This collection focuses on data collection to identify specific student groups and participation in various state and federal programs. This data is used in Adequate Yearly Progress calculations and for state and federal reporting purposes.
To meet the requirements for the Program Participation Collection, AIM specialists should:
- Enter or modify enrollment records for all students that have entered or exited your district since last data entry
- Enter or update all program participation data for each student enrolled in district (including students in non-tested grades)
- Verify accuracy of data by running Enrollment Status, Enrollment Summary or Ad Hoc reports
All data must be accurate as of the test window count date of March 15, 2011. If school is not is session on this date, report data as of the next regulary scheduled school day. The OPI will perform reasonability checks with previous year's data throughout the collection and will contact schools to verify counts that differ significantly.
The Program Participation Collection ends March 25, 2011. It is critical that correct data be entered by this date to ensure AYP student groups and resulting calculations are valid. We ask that Test Coordinators work closely with the school's AIM Specialist to ensure the data collection is completed by the due date.
