2014 School Health ProfilesThursday, January 30, 2014, 10:03 am
In early February the 2014 School Health Profiles (Profiles) will be conducted with school principals and the lead health education teacher in Montana middle and high schools. The Profiles are a school-based survey that monitors the current status of school health education; physical education; practices related to bullying and sexual harassment; school health policies related to HIV infection/AIDS, tobacco use prevention, and nutrition; school-based health services; and family and community involvement in school health. The Profiles is a biennial survey conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through a cooperative agreement with the OPI. Previous Montana Profiles reports are located at www.opi.mt.gov/shp.
