Build a Rainbow on My Tray workshop

The Build a Rainbow on My Tray workshops focus on food preparation techniques and menu planning tips for serving meals and snacks that meet the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the USDA regulations.  Participants will learn “cooking smart” tips to reduce fat, sugar, and sodium while increasing fiber, flavor and overall eye appeal.

The target audience is food service managers, head cooks, and cook's assistants.  The four hour training will include a lunch meal, time to share ideas, recipes and helpful handouts.  This training is free, pre-registration is required.
