Regional Cook Smart Workshops for School Nutritino Program Staff - August 2011

Montana Team Nutrition Program will be offering five regional workshops on Cook Smart to Help Kids Eat Smart for school nutrition program managers, cooks and assistants in August 2011. 

The locations of these workshops are Bozeman, Circle, Havre, Kalispell, and Miles City. Each workshop is held from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. The purpose of these workshops is to demonstrate realistic ways to plan prepare and serve menus that meet the 2010 Dietary Guidelines and the new proposed rules for the USDA school meals pattern. The cost is $35.00 per participant. Lunch is included in the cost of the workshop. Class sizes are limited to 20 per class so early registration is recommended. Workshop recommended for new managers or cooks.
