2011 Keeping Schools and Kids Safe - Summer Institute

Registration is now open for the 2011 Keeping Schools and Kids Safe training to be held June 12-14 at the Helena Red Lion Colonial Hotel.  Attendees can earn 16 renewal units or 1 graduate course credit while learning teaching strategies for sexual health topics, HIV/STD prevention, pregnancy prevention, bullying prevention, healthy relationships and reasons for abstinence.  Bloodborne pathogen policy for education, students/staff, and the work place will also be addressed.  The first 20 to register will be reimbursed for two nights lodging at the state rate.  The training runs from 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12 through noon Tuesday, June 14.
