Let's Get Kids Cooking Pilot ProjectMonday, November 1, 2010, 12:06 pm
The Montana Team Nutrition Program is interested in working with four schools in a pilot project that is centered on a cooking program for children during or after school hours. The program will require involvement of the school nutrition program and the use of USDA foods. OPI encourages student groups to be involved so peer mentoring can occur as older students teach younger students to prepare and enjoy recipes. Each of the four schools will receive a $500 mini-grant for its participation. Please contact Katie Bark for project details, timeline and additional information.
