2010 School Wellness in Action Mini Grant Program

School Nutrition Programs is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2010 School Wellness in Action Mini Grant Programs.  The following schools have been awarded (up to $5,000) to support the implementation of their school wellness policy:

Amsterdam, Bozeman, Great Falls, Hamilton, Libby, Luther, Monforton, Shields Valley, St. Ignatius, Target Range, and Whitefish

Projects are directed to lend support to a school wellness coordinator, or to further support programming within the areas of healthy school meals or snacks, health education, or physical activity opportunties for students.  Funding for this mini-grant program is from the 2009 USDA Team Nutrition Training Grant.
