The OPI School Finance Division has released FY2010-11 Preliminary General Fund Budget Data Sheets and updated the General Fund Budget Excel Spreadsheet to assist schools in budgeting for the FY2010-11 school year.

The Preliminary Budget Data Sheets are located at this link:

Pursuant to House Bill 645 (section 63) passed in the 2009 Legislative Session, the Office of Public Instruction has recalculated the basic and per-ANB entitlement rates for FY2010-11 by increasing the entitlement levels in 20-9-306, MCA by two percent.  The recalculated entitlement rates include funding received under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and appropriated in HB 645 as State Fiscal Stabilization Funding for K-12 Education.  The FY2010-11 rates are shown on the Basic and Per Student Entitlements report located on the OPI website at this link: http://www.opi.mt.gov/Pdf/schoolfinance/Entitle/FY11ANB_Entitlements.pdf .
