Title IA and Title IIA Preliminary Allocations

The Title IA and Title IIA preliminary allocations have been posted on the OPI website at the following link:  http://www.opi.mt.gov/Programs/federal/index.html#gpm1_2.  Please remember that this amount is preliminary, and it may change at some point in the future.  Also, because the Congress has not been able to pass a budget, sequestration may take place in January 2013.  If this happens, there will be an automatic and immediate decrease in Title funds.  To assist districts in long-term planning, the OPI has posted a Sequestration Calculator on the Title I Part A Improving Basic Programs page.  This calculator will assist you in determining the amount of the reduction that could take place.
