CTE Student Participation Reports--Now Available

The 2010-11 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student Participation Reports (formerly called Enrollment Reports) are now available for completion via an online link.  The link is posted on the Secondary CTE web page and also located here:
Any high school district planning to apply for Perkins and/or state CTE funding for the upcoming 2011-12 school year must submit Participation Reports by all teachers for all CTE programs at your high school.  Please make sure that each CTE instructor completes the report and electronically submits it to the OPI by the due date:  Monday, February 28, 2011.

Because there are some significant changes from last year's report, we highly recommend your CTE teachers listen to the 16-minute recorded presentation for technical assistance using Adobe Connect.  This is available on the Secondary CTE web page listed inside the 'Data Collections' tab.  The presentation will explain the changes from last year and how to complete and submit the online form.  It shows screen shots of what the report looks like, how to enter data, and how to submit it to the OPI. 
The data collected from these Participation Reports is used for Carl D. Perkins accountability reporting and factors that determine the state CTE allocation funding formula.  Therefore, it is imperative that the information submitted on these reports is complete and accurate.  Incomplete, missing, or inaccurate data reporting will affect your district's FY12 state CTE/Perkins allocations.  For more information or assistance with this online report, please contact Diana Fiedler, Accountability Specialist in the Career and Technical Education Division.
