Terri Barclay Joins StaffThursday, April 1, 2010, 3:11 pm
The Office of Public Instruction and its Accreditation and Educational Opportunity and Equity Divisions are pleased to welcome Terri Barclay.
Terri has been hired full-time working between the two divisions. She will work half-time in the Accreditation Division as an Instructional Specialist for Early Grades Curriculum. A main focus of her work will be with the Model Full-Time Kindergarten Curriculum guide. The other half of her position is in the Educational Opportunity and Equity Division with the Early Reading First Grant, supporting family literacy and kindergarten transition.
Prior to coming to work at the OPI, Terri worked with the agency on various projects such as team authorship of the Full-Time Kindergarten Model Curriculum Guide and writing of Content Standard ELE's and Rubrics. She comes to the OPI from St. Regis, MT where she taught for 14 years. Terri’s background is in early grades elementary, PK-12 special education, Title I and Technology Integration.
