Montana Student Wins Third Place in National Poster Contest

LODGE GRASS – A Big Horn County middle school student is the third-place winner of the 2009 National Career Development Association Poster Contest.
Shantel Bear Ground was recognized in the middle school mixed media category for sixth through eighth grade students.

“Shantel is a shining example of the talented students we have in Montana,” said state Superintendent Denise Juneau. 

As part of national Career Development Month, national winners will be recognized with the winning entries placed on the NCDA global website, www.ncda.org, by April 15, 2010. The winning entries will also be on display at the Annual Global Conference to be held in San Francisco, California, June 30 - July 2, 2010.

In addition, National winners will receive from the National Career Development Association: a framed certificate and a special congratulations gift.
