Back Button on Internet Explorer version 8 does not work

The OPI Web site uses iframe technology to embed information into some of our web pages.  There is a well-known bug in internet Explorer 8 that the back button incorrectly focuses on the content of the iframe, rather than the expected behavior of focusing on the host page. We have been able to add a work-around to the Internet Explorer family of Web Browsers and have added the fix to our site.

double-clicking the back button will typically get you to the last page visited.

Modern web browsers* such as ChromeFireFox, Opera and Safari for Windows and Macintosh do not experience this problem.

*Modern web browsers are defined as browsers that score at least 90% on the ACID3 Test
