When will SEIDs first be used in reporting?
The first use of the SEID for reporting will be the FY 2012-13 Terms of Employment data collection in October/November 2012. All districts must have an SEID for each employee and incorporate the SEID into the HR/Payroll system in order to be able to submit the Terms of Employment report when the system is implemented.
The majority of large districts have established SEIDs as of October 10, 2012. All districts are encouraged to establish SEIDs as soon as possible using the directions posted on the OPI School Staffing website:
