Where can I find resources for teaching about Montana’s Indians?

The OPI Indian Education page http://www.opi.mt.gov/Programs/IndianEd/Index.html is a good place to get started. Also, there are some internet resources available, check the "Get Answers" section on the Indian Education Page for links to sources available on the web. The best sources of information are the tribes themselves. Contact tribal colleges, and schools on Indian reservations in Montana. The Directory of Montana Indian Education Programs has the contact information for the tribal colleges and schools. Contact the OPI Indian Education office, (406) 444-3694. We can provide more specific information and contacts for resources on Indian Education for All.
