How long is my Montana background check valid?

The fingerprint background check is valid for licensure for a period of two years, based upon the processing date on the report. The date of receipt on your application must be less than 2 years from the date on the background check. However, individual school districts may have different requirements for employment. Please check with the local school district if you have questions about their policies and procedures.
