Can't Connect to a Meeting, FMS did not return correctly
Give this information to your school's technical support group.
Adobe Connect first tries to connect on port 1935. If that port is blocked by a proxy or firewall, then it seamlessly switches to port 443, which typically is secured with SSL.
Since OPI has port 443 "open" and SSL is turned off, your proxy or firewall may reject the connection.
The typical solution would be to ensure that port 1935 is open for inbound and outbound connections.
Setup an outbound port similar to this:
TCP port 1935 outbound - allow
TCP port 1935 inbound – allow this secondary connection
Packet filter is: TCP – both directions
Remote port – 1935
Local port – all ports
Remote IP address – 161.7.16.21 (OPI's Connect Server)
