In April

  • Final maintenance of effort report and application packet for IDEA Part B and preschool grants is posted on the OPI website, and OPI sends a notice to authorized representatives of districts and cooperatives.
  • Private/nonpublic school participation in federal programs
    information must be completed by authorized representatives and returned to the OPI.

Mid April Carl Perkins “Intent to Apply” and State Career and Vocational/Technical Education electronic application are due to OPI (high school districts only). Only high school districts or K-12s who submit
their intent to apply to the OPI will receive a Carl Perkins allocation for the coming year. [more information]
April 10 OPI pays cash requests received through March 25.
April 25 Cash requests due for grant payments in May. For E-Grants projects, submit requests online using the EGrants Cash Request process. For non-E-Grants projects, submit a hardcopy Cash Request form to the OPI (one time per year).
April 30 Indirect Cost Rate (IDC) applications due to the OPI for the following school year. [more information]
Title IV, Part B, 21st Century Community Learning Centers applications for new projects due to the OPI.
Carl Perkins Spring Accountability Data Collection ends in AIM. [more information]

 

E-Grants is a web-enabled system for K-12 education and supports the grant application process from allocation of funds and application for funding through payment accountability, reporting to the grantor and grant closeout for both state and federal grants. E-Grants is accessible to all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and other subgrantees via the Internet without need for installing any special software or hardware.

Setting your computer monitor's resolution (Windows):

    1. Right-Click anywhere on your desktop.
    2. Select the Properties command
    3. Select the Settings Tab
    4. Move the Screen Resolution sliding control to at least 1024 X 768
    5. Click OK
    6. The screen will go blank momentarily. A confirmation dialog box will appear, click OK.

Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox Users:

Pressing the F11 Key on your keyboard will hide your Web browser's menu bars for more viewing area. Pressing F11 again returns the menu bar.
